Welcome to our Spring News Letter. 2008 was a period of rapid growth for Island Web Works, particularly in the CRM and process engineering parts of our business. We are therefore delighted to welcome two new team members to assist in developing those areas.
New Team Members
Nathan Pledger joins us from Duke Marketing to take the role of Senior Software Developer. A Chartered IT Professional with a BSc(hons) in Computer Science and Information Systems, Nathan has extensive commercial development experience utilising development tools including C#, VISUAL BASIC 6, .NET FRAMEWORK, ASP.NET, XHTML and JAVASCRIPT technologies.
Carol Kerins joined us to help enhance the compliance capabilities of our MIGTurbo software and manage our training programmes. Carol has a Masters degree from the University of Limerick and has worked in senior compliance roles on the Island with GAM and CMI.
 New Outlook Plug In
We are delighted to announce the release of our all new MIGTurbo plugin for Microsoft Outlook.
The first of a new range of productivity enhancements to support the latest MS Office product suite; this new development utilises the same core technologies that will drive future versions of MIGTurbo, providing the flexibility to be further tailored to individual client requirements. The toolbar provides access to client/contact records within MIGTurbo along with access to some of the MIGTurbo plug-ins, such as DocuMentor for attaching documents stored within MIGTurbo and TimeTracker allocating correspondence to projects. We’ve been listening to our client’s feedback about the previous versions of the toolbar and think we have matched their expectations for reliability and performance as well as making a number of functionality improvements.
 Advanced WEB Statistics
If you have ever been frustrated by trying to obtain meaningful statistics from your website, then we have the solution. Google Analytics is a service offered by Google that generates detailed statistics about your web site visitors. Its main highlight is that the product is aimed at business people and marketers as opposed to webmasters and IT specialists.
Google Analytics is a highly effective tool, enabling you to constantly measure your company’s online health. It provides easy to understand statistics so you can continually refine and optimise your online marketing strategy, site navigation and page content.

New resellers
We are pleased to announce that we have appointed two new resellers in the UK for our MIGTurbo CRM software. Both organisations will use MIGTurbo internally as well as reselling to clients.

In the Midlands, we have partnered with Churchill Office Solutions. Based in Warwickshire and Birmingham, Churchill is one of the largest independent Canon Plus Solution Partners in the UK.
